Seven hectares of land served as the test site for the proper planting and growing of malunggay. Dr. Irene Adion of the Department of Agriculture-Tarlac office shares, experience taught them that it is not good to plant malunggay directly in soil. Adion says, malunggay is also sensitive to rainfall.

What they did was to plant the cuttings and seedlings and keep them in a nursery. It is here in Tarlac that you can find a Malunggay nursery.
